Summer Ride Share
This summer Justin Shattuck had quite an adventure. He decided that he was going to give anyone in North America a ride to anywhere they wanted, and he would even pay half the gas. But what he needed first was a site where he could record everything that happened, and all the interesting people he met along the way.
Justin first presented me with a design concept that I turned into a WordPress theme. This included creating a custom WordPress plugin that he could use to track all the money he spent, and allow his site’s visitors to make a donation toward his expenses.
Justin had quite the experience doing all this, and he even liveblogged the whole thing on Justin.TV. His little experiment may not have attracted as many riders as he would have liked, but it was still fun to watch and be a part of.
